Hello. My name is Jenifer Nipps. And welcome to my website. I used to say, "Please be patient as I'm currently updating," but what website isn't in some form of construction and update?
I am a writer in Southeast Oklahoma. Throughout this site, you will be able to read some of my work, if you so wish it, and see some of the sites and sunsets in this part of the state. I am now the President of the McAlester McSherry Writers. In May, I finished my term as 1st Vice-President of the Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc. So what do I write? While I was working with OWFI, I didn't do much, and it showed. But now, I'm back to a little bit of everything, I suppose. My main interests are fantasy and poetry. Be sure to check out the writing page. I've added part of a new short story to it. And I read about as much as I write. My favorites are Mercedes Lackey, David Eddings, George R.R. Martin, Terry Goodkind, and many others. Let us not forget J.R.R. Tolkien! Yes, I love Lord of the Rings. A feature that will be coming soon is a "Bookshelf." It will include books I have read by various authors. There could be some sort of review system in place, too. But that is still in the planning stages. Especially considering that I've been weeding through my books slowly and getting rid of some that I have never read or will never read again. That's hard for a self-confessed book-a-holic. While you're visiting, if you see something that I've left out or goofed up on somehow, or for any other comments or questions, drop me an e-mail.
